so...
i have downloaded a thing today named WindowBlinds. Its a cool program that makes your ...everything lol look different.
You have a few other windows skins and stuff . i have clear black skin, downloaded somewhere... XD .
it looks like vista, with areo effects somewhere lol... u should try it out if u like to change your pc's look sometimes.
btw it works for windows xp and vista

btw i wanted to install XP sp3 but i have read that it isnt that good as some people think it is lol
It makes your security better and stuff, i dont even use windows security -.-'
It's BIG lol i had a download time of about 3 hours! :/
It does not make big difference in the way windows looks lol ... only a bit tiny changes.
And many people said sp3 will make your windows faster by about 10% , it's not true lol. its tested by many and i read that it's even slower than sp2! -.-' so i didnt download it... my pc is slow enough :/ but i think the sp3 is not worth of downloading for a slower system... its too big and does almost nothing , just like the vista crap :]

But to make your pc faster i have some tricks
For example i have some Programms called : "Tune up utilities 2007 demo version" , "Toni Arts Registry cleaner"
With tune up utilities you can manage almost all for example you can :

- Clean up your pc
- Clean up your Registry
- Forgive Ram memory by yourself (Maked my old Pc almost hmmm... i would say 20% faster )
- Do all the system crap lol
- Test your Hardware for Errors (very usefull with Harddisk Problems)


And For good looking i have something too :
- Vista mizer (changes the XP skins, Sounds and the Startup like in vista)
- Winflip (with that you can have the animated switch of all things you have open like in vista)
- Thoosje sidebar (The vista sidebar with all great functions like Weather and stuff)
- Glass 2k (for the "Transparent" vista look)

and about making your system faster. i dunno if it works on vista but it does on xp.
if u want to try it go to ( sry for not rly good translation lol... i ve a dutch windows)

start/configuration panel/extra (next to favourites)/map options/the second thing lol... like how it looks :/ / and UNcheck the first checkbox.
it made my windows a tiny bit faster ^^. it does not load every window 5 mins XD

lol my windows skin is changed in standart XD cos im downloading other nicer skins lol

Thank you Kamil but on my new pc i havent to do it
It is "50%" faster then my old one so ... XD
But cause you say you have so mutch probs with ur speed try
A registy cleaner and manual "Ram config" it is mutch better then
And Defrag you Harddisk from time to time (for example i do every sunday)


Then your windows Will not crash so often and you will have a nice speed
